A framed, numbered and signed print of 'All on an April Evening' by the British Artist Helen Layfield Bradley [1900-1979].
This is a classic nostalgic picture capturing Edwardian life in the North of England based on her childhood. Her hand signed prints are particularly popular collectibles so this was a real find. Beautiful warm colours in a whimsical pink toned landscape with leafless trees, characteristic of her narrative style paintings. The original painting was from the 60's /70's - she started painting these memories when she was in her 60's.
Whilst this was a popular print - this is signed and a limited edition making it very collectible. Signed limited editions like this were primarily issued in the early 1970's. This probably dates from 1973.
