Vintage Daniel Nikolov Bulgarian Art Pottery Set

A stunning, hand-crafted two-piece art ceramic set by renowned Bulgarian master ceramist Daniel Nikolov, creator of the celebrated Danko studio pottery line. This striking set features an avant-garde, structural pitcher (water carafe) and a matching shallow footed bowl.

Both pieces showcase Nikolov’s signature style: a vibrant, fiery red glaze contrasted against deep black slipware, decorated with stylized, earthy leaf motifs and warm yellow accents. The pitcher features an incredibly unique, geometric silhouette with a beautifully sculpted arching handle and an asymmetric pouring spout.

The bottom of the footed bowl retains its original authentic Bulgarian studio label, confirming the artist’s name (Даниел Николов) and the materials used (Clay + Glazes).

Excellent vintage condition. No cracks, major chips, or structural repairs. The glazes are bright and glossy. As with all authentic handmade studio pottery, subtle variations in texture, glaze application, and form are inherent to the artisan process and add to its individual character.
